Signals
- S-video chrominance — colour (C) component of the S-Video signal; approximately 0.3 Vpp into 75 Ω, separated from luminance to reduce cross-colour artefacts.
- S/PDIF ground — ground reference for the S/PDIF digital audio line; present on the connector but activation depends on card model and breakout cable.
- SPDIF — Sony/Philips Digital Interface audio output for passing digital audio to an S/PDIF-capable receiver via the breakout cable.
- GND — signal ground for video and audio circuits.
- audio right — right-channel analogue stereo audio output; pin assignment may vary between Radeon models (see Notes).
- audio GND — ground return for the analogue stereo audio outputs; may be swapped with audio right on certain Radeon 7500 cards.
- S-video intensity — luminance (Y) component of the S-Video signal; approximately 1 Vpp into 75 Ω, carrying brightness and sync information.
