ECU - Electronic Control Unit Connector.
The Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T (chassis code BNR32 variant excluded; GTS-T uses HCR32/ECR32 codes) was produced from 1989 to 1994 and fitted with the RB20DET — a 2.0 litre twin-cam turbocharged inline-six engine managed by Nissan’s ECCS (Electronic Concentrated Control System). ECCS provides sequential multi-point fuel injection and electronic ignition timing from a single ECU. The R32 GTS-T ECU uses a 76-pin connector layout, distinct from the 64-pin unit found in the concurrent R32 GT-R with RB26DETT.

Notes
The R32 GTS-T ECU connector is a 76-pin Nissan-proprietary multi-pin header. The R32 GT-R (RB26DETT) uses a separate 64-pin ECU and its pinout is not interchangeable with the GTS-T unit. ECCS diagnostics are accessible via the Nissan CONSULT serial interface, connected through a dedicated 14-pin data link connector; the ECU exposes CHK, IGN, RX, and TX signal lines to CONSULT. Only the pins documented in the factory engine manual are listed above; remaining positions are unassigned or function unknown.
Signals
- Tachometer Signal — engine speed output (pin 7) used to drive the instrument cluster tachometer
- Power Ground (Engine Control Module) — main ECU power earth reference (pin 10)
- Mass Air Flow Sensor Ground — dedicated earth for the MAF sensor circuit (pin 26)
- Mass Air Flow Sensor — analogue voltage signal from the hot-wire MAF sensor proportional to intake air mass (pin 27)
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor — analogue voltage signal from the coolant temperature thermistor (pin 28)
- O2 Sensor Signal — exhaust oxygen sensor voltage input used for closed-loop fuelling correction; two pins (29 and 55) indicate front and rear sensor positions respectively
- Sensor Ground — shared earth reference for analogue sensor inputs (pin 30)
- Throttle Position Sensor — analogue voltage signal reporting throttle plate angle (pin 38)
- Vehicle Speed Sensor — pulse signal from the gearbox output shaft speed sensor (pin 53)
- Injector #1–#6 — individual injector drive outputs; the ECU switches each injector to earth to trigger fuel injection in firing-order sequence (pins 101, 103, 105, 110, 112, 114)
