ECU - Electronic Control Unit Connector.
The 1989–1992 Toyota Supra (MA70 / A70, MK III) was equipped with either the 7M-GE naturally aspirated or 7M-GTE turbocharged 3.0-litre DOHC 24-valve engine. Both variants are managed by Toyota’s TCCS (Toyota Computer Controlled System), which integrates Electronic Fuel Injection, Electronic Spark Advance, and self-diagnosis functions within a single ECU. The ECU connector is of waterproof construction; diagnostic codes are retrieved by shorting terminals T (7M-GE) or TE1 (7M-GTE) to E1 on the check connector and reading the blink pattern of the CHECK ENGINE warning lamp.

Notes
The ECU connector is waterproof; do not probe terminals directly. Use the engine control check harness (SST) to measure terminal voltages without damaging the seals. The self-diagnosis check connector carries terminal T (labelled T(MA) on 7M-GE applications) or TE1 (labelled TE1(MS) on 7M-GTE applications) and E1; bridging these with the ignition on causes the CHECK ENGINE lamp to flash stored diagnostic codes in 0.25-second blink pulses. The IC components within the ECU are sensitive to electrostatic discharge — do not open the ECU cover.
