The 1992–1994 Nissan Maxima (J30 chassis) is powered by the VE30DE, a 3.0 L DOHC 24-valve V6 engine managed by Nissan’s ECCS (Electronic Concentrated Control System). ECCS provides sequential multi-point fuel injection and electronic ignition timing control from a single Engine Control Module (ECM). Notes

The ECM uses a multi-pin header connector; only a subset of pins are documented here. The VE30DE is a naturally aspirated engine, so no boost or turbo-related signals are present. The ECM is accessible via Nissan’s CONSULT serial diagnostic interface. This page covers 1992–1994 J30 Maxima; the ECM layout is consistent across the J30 generation.
