Minidin 8 Pin Male (To the ATI video card)
Minidin 4 pin Female (To the S-Video device Output)
RCA Female (1 the Composite Video device Output, 2 to audio left output device, 3 to audio right output device)
The ATI All-in-Wonder input adapter is a proprietary 4-headed breakout cable used with ATI All-in-Wonder graphics cards from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s (covering the RAGE PRO Turbo, Rage 128, Radeon, and Radeon 9200 generations). The card end terminates in an 8-pin Mini-DIN male plug connecting to the card’s A/V IN bracket socket; the four heads break out to a 4-pin Mini-DIN female (S-Video), an RCA female (composite video), and two RCA females (audio-L and audio-R). S-Video carries only luma (Y) and chroma (C) signals and provides higher picture quality than composite; it carries no audio, so the L/R audio RCA cables are always required alongside an S-Video connection. Composite video follows standard CVBS signalling at 1 Vp-p into 75 Ω. The adapter accepts input from VCRs, camcorders, and laserdisc players.

Signals
- Composite Video Signal — CVBS analogue video signal (1 Vp-p, 75 Ω, unbalanced); carried on the yellow RCA plug at the source device end.
- Composite Video Ground — ground return for the composite video signal.
- Audio Ground — common ground for both left and right audio channels.
- Audio Right Signal — right-channel analogue audio input; carried on the red RCA plug.
- Ground — S-Video ground; pins 1 and 2 of the 4-pin Mini-DIN S-Video connector are both ground.
- Color (Chrominance) — S-Video chroma (C) signal; pin 4 of the 4-pin Mini-DIN S-Video connector.
- Audio Left Signal — left-channel analogue audio input; carried on the white RCA plug.
- Intensity (Luminance) — S-Video luma (Y) signal; pin 3 of the 4-pin Mini-DIN S-Video connector.
Notes
The 8-pin Mini-DIN connector on the card end is a proprietary ATI interface; ATI Technologies did not publish a public pin-level wiring specification for this connector. The S-Video socket follows the standard 4-pin Mini-DIN S-Video convention (ITU-R BT.470). When using S-Video, the composite video RCA is left unused but the L/R audio RCA cables must still be connected, as S-Video carries no audio. Copy-protected input sources are detected by the ATI hardware and refused for capture.
