The P4 and P5 connectors are optional 6-pin (2×3) outputs defined in the WTX Power Supply Design Guidelines (Intel, Version 1.0, February 1999) for the Workstation Technology Extended form factor, a mid-range workstation platform introduced by Intel in 1998. Each connector delivers a dedicated +12V_CPU# rail directly to external DC-to-DC converter Power Pods or to on-board processor VRM circuits, enabling scalable power delivery for dual-CPU workstation configurations without exceeding the 240 VA per-output limit imposed by IEC 60950. The cable-side connector is a Molex 39-01-2060 and the Power Pod input uses a Molex 39-30-1060; the board connector may alternatively be a Molex 39-29-9082 or equivalent. Pins 1–3 carry +12V_CPU# and pins 4–6 are ground, mirroring the signal layout of the P3 connector.

Notes
P4 and P5 are optional connectors; they are only required when the system includes one or more processor Power Pods or additional processor VRMs that draw +12 V directly from the power supply. The +12V_CPU# rail is regulated to ±5% (11.40–12.60 V). The Molex 39-30-1060 listed as the board/Power Pod input connector is keyed to mate with the Molex 39-01-2060 cable connector; the WTX Power Supply Design Guidelines also permit a Molex 39-29-9082 or equivalent on the board side. P4 and P5 are electrically identical — two separate connectors allow the supply to serve each processor Power Pod independently. These connectors and the wider WTX specification were discontinued circa 2001–2008 and were not widely adopted commercially.
