The Olympus CAMEDIA C-70 Zoom (sold in Europe and South-East Asia as the C-70Z and in the United States as the C-7000 Zoom) uses a proprietary 12-pin Multi-connector on the camera body that carries USB data, A/V output, and DC-IN through a single port. Only four of those twelve pins are active for USB, mapping directly to the standard USB 1.1 signal set (VBUS, D+, D−, GND) at the host side. The connector and cable are Olympus-specific; only the supplied USB cable should be used to connect the camera to a computer. The same Multi-connector interface is shared with a range of contemporaneous Olympus cameras including the C-5500 Sport Zoom, C-7000 Zoom, D-425, D-435, D-545 Zoom, D-595 Zoom, D-630 Zoom, Evolt E-330, Evolt E-500, FE-140, FE-130, FE-120, SP-310, SP-320, SP-350, SP-500Z, SP-500 UZ, SP-700, Stylus Digital 500, Stylus Digital 600, Stylus Digital 700, Stylus Digital 710, Stylus Digital 720 SW, Stylus Digital 800, Stylus 810, Stylus Verve, and Stylus Verve S.

Notes
The Multi-connector is a proprietary 12-pin port; Olympus never published a full pin-level specification for it. Pins not listed in the table above (pins 1–7 and 10) serve A/V output, DC-IN, or other internal functions. The connector is polarised and keyed — only the Olympus-supplied cable will mate correctly. The USB connection carries standard USB 1.1 signals once the cable is in place; no special driver is required on operating systems that support USB mass storage or PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol).
Signals
