21 pin SCART female connector
The Matrox QID and QID Pro professional graphics cards each carry two Low-profile High-density 60-pin (LFH-60) connectors that provide composite video and S-Video TV outputs. In European markets, many television sets and video recorders expose only a 21-pin SCART socket rather than dedicated composite or S-Video sockets, so Matrox supplied a dedicated adapter cable — obtainable from a Matrox representative — that maps the LFH-60 TV-output signals to a SCART female plug. The SCART connector is standardised electrically by CENELEC EN 50049-1 (IEC 60933-1:1988) and mechanically by IEC 60807-9:1993, and carries composite video, S-Video luminance and chrominance, stereo audio, and blanking-control signals on a single 21-pin shell.
