This straight cable connects a REDCOM T1 span port (DB-15 male) to the DS1 trunk module on a Network Equipment Technologies Promina 800 series chassis (DB-15 male), carrying 1.544 Mbps T1/DS1 signals per ANSI T1.403. Notes
Both connectors are DB-15 male. The cable is wired straight-through (each pin to the same-numbered pin on the opposite end). T1/DS1 line signals are 100 Ω balanced twisted-pair at 1.544 Mbps with AMI or B8ZS line coding and D4/SF or ESF framing per ANSI T1.107. Only the four active T1 signal pins (1, 3, 9, 11) are wired; remaining pins are not connected.
